SPV carried out slate roofing works to the roof over the Function Room at The Moat House Hotel, Bolton.
The Hotel had received a number of complaints from the owners of the flats next to the building with regards to the noise coming from the Hotel during Events and Weddings.
Queens Moat House asked SPV to provide a solution to reduce the noise emitted from the building and soundproof the venue.
The building is a former Church and is a listed building therefore it was essential that the same slates were used during the renewal of the roofs.
SPV stripped off the existing slate roof and renewed this to match the existing but with additional soundproofing membrane and insulation. SPV also carried out the new lead work to all roofs.
