SPV have recently completed the installation of a new 'Glass Box' Entrance Area at The MacDonald Crutherland Hotel, East Kilbride.

The 'Glass Box' was built as an extension to the existing Hotel to create a new entrance way to the Hotel using a formerly unused area.

The project involved demolition and excavation works followed by the formation of a trench, foundations and then the installation of structural steelwork.

Timber framing was then installed along with a curtain walling system to form the 'Glass Box'.

A new roof was then installed along with all details and finally it was decorated internally along with all electrical connections and the installation of furniture and fittings.

The works were completed within budget and within the strict 12 week programme.
